Dr. Robert Benson's experience in cosmetic surgery spans three decades and two hemispheres. He was among the first physicians to perform liposuction and fat transfer procedures in the United States. His surgery center is one of only four "Centers of Excellence" facilities chosen by Cynosure—the manufacturer of Smartlipo—to train other doctors in advanced laser lipo techniques.

Born, educated, and trained in New Orleans, Dr. Benson has practiced dermatology and cosmetic surgery in both Louisiana and New Zealand—where he has refined his skills in laser lipo, laser resurfacing, laser eyelid surgery, neck lifts, innovative hair transplantation, and skin cancer surgery. He now supervises QnA, a state-of-the-art medical spa and cosmetic surgery facility in Ponchatoula, LA. At QnA, Dr. Benson and his experienced professionals combine advanced laser aesthetic techniques, conventional spa services, and outpatient cosmetic surgery procedures. He also continues to practice medical and surgical dermatology and skin cancer surgery at Benson Dermatology in Ponchatoula, conveniently serving the Northshore, New Orleans, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
