Upper lids are particularly prone to drooping as the skin becomes less and less elastic. This excess skin is easily removed through incisions hidden within the upper eyelid fold. Any fat pads which cause puffiness are removed before the incisions are closed. The result is a restoration of the natural upper lid architecture with more open, "awake" eyes.
Lower lids are more prone to bags and darkening which is due to thinning skin. Under eye puffiness is remedied by accessing the fat pads through a tiny button-hole incision on the inner surface of the lid and melting the unwanted fat with pinpoint laser energy. The surface skin is then treated with a laser scanner which resurfaces and tightens the skin, eliminating dark circles and wrinkles.
