Dr. Robert Benson and Nurse Practitioners Sandra Thornhill and Susan Smith have over 80 years of combined experience in dermatology, cosmetic surgery, and general medicine. Dr. Benson is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology (1980) and is a Fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery (1981). In 1983 he was named a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He was named Citizen of the Year by the Ponchatoula Chamber of Commerce in 2006 for his medical, business, and civic contributions to the community.
